Maria Feerick
Practice Nurse
Nurse Maria Feerick graduated from St. Angela’s College, Sligo in 2011. After graduation she spent two years in London working for St. George’s NHS Trust. During this time, she worked in HMP Wandsworth, Intermediate Care Community Service and St. George’s Hospital.
When she returned from traveling in Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand in 2014, Maria spent two years in Dublin where she worked in The Sports Surgery Clinic in Santry and the Hermitage Clinic in Lucan.
In 2016 Maria moved back to her native Co. Mayo and worked in The Galway Clinic in Same Day Surgery for 4.5 years. She began working as a practice nurse in 2020 and in June 2021 she joined Lakelands Medical Practice. Maria is a registered cervical smear taker. She enjoys all aspects of practice nursing and has a special interest in women’s health and skincare.
Maria is also a published author. Her first book, a children’s Christmas story, The Lost Christmas Sock, was launched in November 2023.
